This policy confirms that Genesis Capital Limited (Genesis Capital) ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in its direct operations or supply chains. We govern all current and future relationships with this in mind. 

Genesis Capital recognise that modern slavery is a crime and violation of human rights. Modern slavery can take many forms including, slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking. All these forms create the removal of a person’s liberty to exploit them for personal/commercial gain.

Genesis Capital have a zero-tolerance policy to all forms of modern slavery.

Our employees
Genesis Capital commits to ensuring that we provide a working environment in which all employees are treated fairly and with the uttermost respect, we operate a zero-tolerance policy in relation to discrimination of any kind. All employees are required to complete annual training in relation to equality and diversity.
The Genesis Capital Code of Conduct must be understood and followed by all employees, it confirms our commitment against harassment of any form.
All employees of Genesis Capital are expected to treat everyone with respect, making sure that all internal/external interactions are professional and that all views/inputs are listened to fairly, regardless of agreement/disagreement with the views/inputs raised.
 
Raising concerns
All Genesis Capital employees should report any suspected breaches of the Code of Conduct, or any other procedure/policy to the operations, compliance and HR manager. This includes any potential issues regarding human rights.
Our suppliers
Genesis Capital believes that the behaviour of our suppliers should mirror our stance on environmental, human rights and compliance issues. This is considered when completing new supplier partnership agreements and when appointing approved representatives via the Financial Conduct Authority. All suppliers are then reviewed on an annual basis to ensure compliance.
All our suppliers are aware that we have a zero-tolerance policy in relation to modern slavery.
 
Our financial activities
Genesis Capital deal with many individual customers and professionals, be it via small to medium enterprises or large corporate entities; this includes our funding panel.
Genesis Capital endeavours, to the best of our ability, to reduce the risk of potential violations of social, environmental and human rights from its financing and potential investment activities by ensuring that we complete an annual human rights review and address any potential negative impacts that this may highlight.
